Our college is about collaboration, celebration and competition. This is encompassed in our motto ‘proud to achieve, determined to succeed’. We try to encourage ourselves and each other to challenge ourselves, always put 100% into everything we do and to be respectful and supportive when we do not reach our goals.

In the college there is a great vibe of belonging and unity. Within the college we have endlessly talented students, with enthusiasm and drive to keep raising the goal posts. These talents have been demonstrated in assemblies, through celebration and at our college focus days.

Olympia have over 20 student ambassadors. Together they meet every Thursday to plan new ideas and discuss projects that they want to run. Last year the Student Ambassadors were part of We Day with Team London. This involved them running a local community project and attending the first ever WE DAY at Wembley. We Day was an inspirational day where we listened to some amazing people speak. This included Prince Harry, Al Gore, Malala and Sir Richard Branson. The students then organised a Tea Party for the Elderly, held at our school. They baked cakes, scones and served tea in Vintage China cups, while also performing songs, musical solos and hosting a sing-a-long. Over 60 elderly guests attended, including a gentleman who was 102 years old.

Our students, their talents, commitment and enthusiasm, are the reason our College is such a success and I look forward to watching the college grow and develop over the coming academic year.
