Apply to the Sixth Form

Virtual Open Event

Thank you for your interest in applying to the 6th form at Fortismere. In place of having you visit the school to look around and ask questions, we have put together a series of films showing students and staff talking about various aspects of life in the 6th form.

Before you look at the subject specific films, we recommend that you watch the welcome from the co-Headteachers and the talk by the Heads of Year 12 and our student leaders to get some general information about the benefits of coming to our 6th form.

We also recommend that you find out about the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ); a piece of work you can opt to do with support from staff and which is worth an AS level and recognised by UCAS.

Application Process

Students in year 11 at Fortismere will receive an email to their school email account with a link to the online application form.

Students in year 11 in other schools can start an application here.

Please check the “Curriculum, Column Choices & Entry Requirements” section of the Sixth Form Page

If you are applying for A level courses you will be choosing three; one from each of the blocks. If you are applying for one of the BTEC courses, you select the same course in each of the blocks. These courses count as 3 A levels.

Please remember to check the entry requirements for the subjects you are choosing.

If you have further questions please email and your query will be passed to someone that can answer it.

The online application form will be available from Tuesday 1st December. The deadline for application will be Friday 19th February 2021.
