As a comprehensive school where academic ambition and personal growth go hand in hand, the Year 13 Class of 2026 has delivered impressive outcomes that demonstrate the power of an inclusive and aspirational community. Almost one in three A-level entries was awarded an A* or A grade and almost two thirds of grades were at least a B. Vocational routes continued their track record of success, with 100% of BTEC students achieving a Merit or above and over 96% securing top Distinction or Distinction* levels.

The defining story of these results, however, lies in student progress. Driven by a school culture where we are ambitious for every single student, this cohort is set to achieve the highest value-added progress measures for a 6th Form cohort in the school’s history. Fortismere School’s progress is expected to place it alongside the top 10% of post-16 providers nationally.

Over their time at Fortismere, they have embraced our values, growing into curious, creative, and critically-minded adults.

What makes these results so special is the record progress our students have made. From their very first day in Sixth Form, this year group demonstrated great perseverance and ambition.  But above all, today is a celebration of the achievement of each and every individual. Whether a student is heading to university, stepping into medical school, or taking up a high-level apprenticeship, their success is a testament to their own drive and their hard work as students at Fortismere School.  I wish each and everyone well and can’t wait to hear more about what they go on to achieve"
