Fortismere Celebrates Fantastic GCSE Results 2026
Fortismere School is celebrating another exceptional academic year as our Year 11 cohort delivered a fantastic set of GCSE and BTEC results. Building on our outstanding A-level outcomes, these results buck national trends and demonstrate the remarkable strength, ambition, and progress across our inclusive community.
Our students showed inspiring determination and resilience throughout Key Stage 4. Across the board, performance in core subjects remains superb, and students across all starting points - including our SEND pupils - achieved exceptionally strong progress measures. We look forward to welcoming the vast majority of Year 11 back to Fortismere Sixth Form this September.

- Top Tier Performance: ~43% of all GCSE entries were awarded Grade 7 or above.
- Exceptional Excellence: Over 25% of entries reached Grades 8 and 9 - double the national rate in 2026.
- Core Mastery: 72% of students secured strong passes (Grade 5+) in both English and Mathematics.
