The animated documentary will be introduced by one of the film’s animators.  The Spanish language film (with English subtitles) explores the experience of women under Franco’s dictatorship of Spain through authentic voices and animation. Director, Marco Potyomkin recently posted  ‘All screenings are special, but this one because of its genesis, because of how quickly the stars aligned, could be the top!  Thank you to Fortismere School for giving us this wonderful opportunity to share our film on the path towards Necessary Memory. Without Memory there is no Democracy!’

We strongly recommend this opportunity to all Spanish or History students in Years 10-13.  It may also be of interest to students studying Art, Film or other creative subjects.
