The Fortismere School Association (FSA) exists to support the school through fundraising activities. You can find the FSA on Facebook and Twitter and get regular updates about events and ways to help by emailing your details to Kirsty Marks: email@example.com
The school benefits greatly from donations to the FSA. A small monthly donation can help in the following ways, for example:
- Enable the Science department to run its science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) club for years 7, 8 and 9,
- Fund author visits to the library
- Get more gardening equipment for the school's allotment project, Concordia.
You can set up a monthly donation or make a single gift via our Justgiving page.
FSA Bids 2016-17
Each year, the FSA accepts bids from members of school staff, to fund additional things of benefit to students. This year's bids have been submitted and you can read them all here (there are so many that we have divided them into sections!).
A summary of all the bids can be found here.
The FSA made the difficult decision about where the money raised should be allocated in November 2016 and the results can be found here.
Fortismere Food Market
Our Food Market was officially opened by actor, writer and comedian, Mackenzie Crook, at 11am on Sunday 19th Mach 2017! The market, which featured all kinds of food and produce stalls, was incredibly popular with hundreds of visitors. We are sure that it will be a great addition to Muswell Hill's attractions. Here are some photos of the grand opening day:
