Fortismere Community Symphony Orchestra brings players of all ages together to create high-calibre music. The orchestra includes students, parents and teachers from Fortismere School, as well as members of the wider community. 

Fortismere Community Symphony Orchestra rehearses every Tuesday evening between 7pm and 9pm at in the music concert hall at Fortismere School, North Wing, Creighton Avenue, Muswell Hill. The rehearsal usually begins with sectionals, followed by a full orchestral rehearsal with a tea break in the middle.

We welcome new members, so if you are interested in joining please email fmcinfo@fortismere.org.uk and you can attend one or two rehearsals without obligation. We then ask for a subscription of £56 per adult and/or £39 per student per term in order to cover costs. The orchestra is currently recruiting for strings, brass and some woodwind.
