CONEL Open Days

Our open days are a chance for you to speak to our expert tutors about courses and all of the wide range of options we can offer you. You can even have an interview and receive an offer for your course, all on the same day!

Warwick’s Sutton Trust Summer School provides you with a fantastic opportunity to experience life as if you were a first-year undergraduate! Each subject stream will involve a mix of lectures, seminars or lab sessions, and you will be taught by some of our leading academics and post-graduate students.

You will improve your research and presentation skills through taking part in a group project within your subject, supported by our team of current Warwick students who will be working with you throughout the week.

We have also planned a full social programme for the evenings, including a Formal Dinner on our last night, giving you the all-round student experience!

Particular Sectors





The University of Law


The legal sector is changing rapidly and our Solicitor Apprenticeship offers a 6-7 year programme for post A Level students and non-law graduates to qualify as solicitors whilst gaining real experience in the workplace.

Candidates need 3 A Levels at grades A* - C or equivalent, plus 5 GCSEs including Maths & English at Level 4 or above.



Apprentices will sit the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), Parts 1 & 2, as part of this course and gain an LLB (Hons) Law degree in Legal Practice & Skills. On successful completion of the SQE, candidates who meet suitability requirements can apply to the Solicitors Regulation Authority to be admitted as a solicitor, without the need to complete a separate training contract.




The University of Law, in partnership with Damar Training, also offers a 2 year Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship. This gives the candidate the opportunity to take University of Law practice modules and learn from our highly skilled and experienced tutors, many of whom are lawyers with real world experience.

Candidates need 2/3 A Levels (3 if degree level content is incorporated in their studies), plus 5 GCSEs including Maths & English at Level 4 or above.

Work Experience

Medical Projects has spaces on its medical work experience courses for aspiring medical students.
