Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Co-headteachers are seeking to appoint our first apprentice to the school, in order to develop our communications further.

Fortismere continues to be a school with strong outcomes but with the potential to do even better. The right person will learn how to engage our school community, and will develop experience of innovative and effective approaches for communication. The successful candidate will have responsibility for communications and public relations, learning the skills necessary both in school and via your college course. Someone who is visible, talented, aspirational, inclusive and motivational and is not afraid of challenging work will be successful in this role. We are also looking for an individual who is intellectually curious, communicates effectively and has an interest in, and talent for, the use of different media platforms.
