Fortismere values its relationships with the local community in Muswell Hill and Fortis Green. We are fortunate in having many local businesses support our events e.g Art Exhibitions and Summer Fairs. We enjoy a good relationship with the Muswell Hill and Fortis Green Residents Association and in recent years have been working closely with Muswell Hill Sustainability Group on school and community sustainability issues. In 2010 a bid for Department of Energy and Climate Change funding by Muswell Hill Sustainability Group and Haringey Council allowed us to put solar panels on the roof of our Sports Hall.

We are supporters of 'East Finchley Altogether Better (EFAB)' which seeks to bring the local community together and reduce isolation by creating opportunities for people of all ages to get involved and share their skills. You can read their latest newsletter here.
