EAL

Although not a special educational need (rather a benefit to know additional languages!) our EAL co-ordinator works in the department to support students in developing their understanding and use of English.  Small group and individual tuition supports those in the early stages of language acquisition, and help with subjects and exam preparation is also available.  ReadingWise reading comprehension support is another popular class to help students develop their comprehension skills in English.  There is also a popular lunch club and homework club for EAL students.  Please contact Ms Vanessa Ingerslev vingerslev@fortismere.org.uk for further information.
