Accessing Student Email

In order to provide access to Go4Schools for homework, all students have been given an email address. This is of the form

This email address is currently provided via google - the procedure to log in is as follows:

  1. Go to
  2. Sign in with the account - note that this is different from the @students address used currently by go4schools.
  3. You will be transferred to an atomwide logon page - here you should input the standard school login, for example bloggsj.309 - password123
  4. You will now be transferred to your inbox. This includes mail sent to both and

Students should note that although staff email address are listed in the google apps domain, they should always use the addresses to contact staff as the google accounts are not monitored.

The two different email addresses exist in order that we can seamlessly move to a new email system without disruption to google classroom services should it become preferable to do so.
