Performance poetry in the library, with Steve Tasane.

Steve Tasane, author and performance poet, came for the day on Tuesday 4th July.  He did four sessions with Year 7 and Year 8 classes and his enthusiasm never flagged throughout.  Some clever tongue twisting and rapping got the audience going, readings from his excellent books (Blood Donors – guts and gruesome and Nobody Saw No One – present day thriller based on Oliver Twist) and games kept our students on their toes.  Even the most jaded Year 8 students became very competitive in the Obedience Game!  Another action packed and fun filled day.
