General overview & picture:
We are increasingly recognising the fragility of our world. With this knowledge comes a responsibility to act. We need to consider the impact of actions today on the people and planet of tomorrow. In short…our actions need to be SUSTAINABLE.
Here at Fortismere we are continually working on ways in which to make our school and its community more sustainable.

Students
In September of 2009 there will be a strong group of Fortismere students who will facilitate Sustainable Development across the school.

Staff
In September of 2009 there will be a strong group of Fortismere Staff who will facilitate Sustainable development across the school.

Community
As we progress through 2009-2010 there is a hope to get the community of Muswell Hill more involved in the Sustainability of the school.
A bid has already been made with the Muswell Hill Sustainability Group for some funding to develop Sustainable practices.
